Homeowners Insurance at Headlinehouse.com

Homeowners insurance is central to the services we provide here and you can get your cover either direct from top UK homeowners insurance providers or by using an automated system to present you with numeorus quotes from which to select your cover. Of the three services of the latter type presented here, we arrange them above in order of their popularity on this site.

Lets look at these different approaches - going direct or using price comparison - in more detail.

In the current
homeowners insurance market, most people use a home insurance comparison site to get their cover. They're easy and quick to use, given that you fill in just one form, and, of course, they're the only way to compare so many quotes at once. People make real savings with them, often tens of pounds are shaved off their homeowners insurance renewal quote.

Their down side is that quality control is difficult because it can be problematic to get full policy information without checking out the insurance company websites as well. Also, their weighting towards the cheap end of the
homeowners insurance market makes it troublesome to find a policy with a bit more cover, particularly if you want to compare such a policy with others that are similar.

Looking at going direct to a top
homeowners insurance provider instead, are there any advantages to that? Well yes, a key advantage is that these insurers recognise the importance of  quality cover as standard for many people so don't try to compete on price alone. Thus, if you want a good level of cover, going direct can be an advantage. Certainly many do just that here and indeed M&S homeowners insurance in particular is extremely popular here.

The down side of going direct, of course, is that you don't get to compare prices and becasue you're likely getting slightly better cover, you may pay a bit more than an ultra-low priced
homeowners insurance policy as found on a price comparison site.

By way of summarising the above, we would suggest going direct, for example, for M&S
homeowners insurance, if you want good cover as standard. You can check out what they offer via their link below. However, if you want to go as cheap as you can, then you will find a price comparison system a better match for your requirements.

Either way, do know what the policy includes and excludes as well as what your exces will be before purchase.

Good luck and stay safe and well-covered.
